Accessibility

Informechs aims to make this website usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

Standard we target

We build against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We test with keyboard navigation, with a screen reader, and at browser zoom levels up to 200%.

What we have done

• A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, in the brand accent colour.
• Semantic landmarks, one h1 per page, and headings in order.
• Form fields with persistent labels, inline error messages tied to their field, and a status message announced to assistive technology on submit.
• Text and interface colours checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on the dark surfaces used across the site.
• Animation suppressed for visitors whose system requests reduced motion, and content that renders fully with JavaScript disabled.
• Responsive layout with no horizontal scrolling down to 320px viewport width.

Known limitations

• Decorative background grids and gradients are marked aria-hidden and carry no information, so no alternative text is provided for them.
• Where we link to third-party sites, we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
