This policy explains what personal information Informechs collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only — separate terms govern data processed under a signed client agreement.
Information we collect
- Details you submit through the contact form: name, email address, and optionally company, phone number, the service you are interested in, and the content of your message.
- Technical information generated automatically when you visit: IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed, retained in server logs.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers or cross-site profiling on this website. Fonts are self-hosted, so visiting this site does not send a request to a third-party font provider.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal.
- To maintain a record of business correspondence.
- To keep the website secure and diagnose faults.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list without a separate, explicit opt-in.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for contact form submissions, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website for server log data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for 24 months from the last contact, unless it becomes part of a client record governed by a signed agreement. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
Sharing
Contact form submissions may be routed to the systems we use to manage correspondence and client relationships. Those providers process data on our instructions under contract. We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.
Security
Data submitted through this site is transmitted over TLS and stored with access limited to the staff who need it. Client data processed under a service agreement is handled under the controls set out in that agreement, including HIPAA and CMS requirements where applicable.
Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
- Withdraw consent for us to contact you, at any time.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
